Pale Moon Light

Have we met before

Or does my subconscious

know my destiny

Is it a past experience that we share

A past life, or forgotten encounters

Your face rekindles, bits of memories lost

Or maybe never there at all

I look at you and I wonder, am I to go insane

Trying to recall, memories never there at all

My mind knows you, yet not at all

Is this some trick, of near insanity.

I sit and stare, but no recall

Are you then, the one designed for me

Tales are told of finding ones mate

But this many Years apart

Are you from a different time

My future, my past

How does one make sense of it all

Insanity beckons, no recall

Yet, your face is as familiar to me as my own.
