Vacation Blues... A NiaG Poem

Updated on March 2, 2012

Sun in my face

Don’t wanna leave this place

That erases the life I’m used to

Sand ‘tween my toes

Nobody knows

The escape I’d like to do

The beach calls my name

It’s driving me insane

Asking me to stay permanently

If only I can stay

For more than a week and a day

The blues and stress I carry will flee

I like this poem, its short sweet and leaves me with an air of wanting to return to a vacation spot myself. I know its about leaving one but I always craze the moment of return. Dreading the departure day is something I try not to think about while I'm on vacation, because I try not to get to attached. Nice! Voted up.

Try some imagery here, it will help boost your social rating, I read about it while browsing on some good info to help boost my viewers I receive on here & to help raise my Hubpages profile score.

The social ratings are based on how long you keep users on a web page according to the search engines and SEO God's of the web. Figured I help a tad bit, Good Luck Niag, if you need any advice on anything web related message me. I learned a lot about the web overall prior to joining hubpages.
