I woke up early to watch the sunrise.

this was new to me and what a surprise.

The sky above was slowly coming to light.

I thought to myself such a beautiful sight.

As the day went on,

the sun went away.

The rain came down

in a harsh, damp way.

When the sun goes away,

I begin to feel down.

I just want to be alone,

with no one around.

My thoughts are like dreams,

that never come true.

So is the sun set,

saying the days through.

Twenty Four hours,

have come and gone.

Time is so short,

yet life feels too long.
