If You Could Make The Dust Dance

Updated on July 8, 2017

If You Could Make The Dust Dance

If you could come along

and walk hand in hand

then only does life breathe and move

If you could whisper into the ears

a few words of love

then only does life breathe and move

If you could fly into the thorns

and taste drops of nectar

then only does life breathe and move

If you could write songs on stars

with the ink of darkness

then only does life breathe and move

When you could sing songs

on the way to desolate lanes

then only does life breathe and move

If you could catch the dreams

sitting on the edges of lids

then only does life breathe and move

When you could make the dust

dance in the lap of wind

then only does life breathe and move

And when in your absence

you could make one feel close

then only does life breathe and move

When your touch could stir love

in the insipid pair of eyes

then only does life breathe and move

If you could feel the pulse of your being

moment to moment

then only does life breathe and move

Hi Chitrangada Sharan ! I often think how people go after so many things like acquisition of wealth , power, prestige, knowledge etc. , But there is more precious to life than possession of all these.

In the end, everything comes to being in love and being loved, and this is the real juice of life.

I ponder and write all about it. You have been such a strong supporter. I love you presence. Thank you so much for taking your time for reading and commenting.

Hi Nellieanna ! Am so glad you paid a visit to this hub and presented such nice comments. You are right about the metaphor " dust ", I intended the same and thought at that time that someone would sure point it out to me. You are such an insightful person that you touched it and almost read my mind. Thank you for your kind words. I love your presence.

Eric, I often read guys writing about their muse. To me, mother nature is my muse, she lovingly talks to me and I pour it out. Thank you so much for your kind visit.
