Want and Waiting

Updated on June 13, 2016

I Cannot See what I Cannot Feel,

a Love within, an itching skin,

a Crown of Golden hair.

Chirp, Chirp - the Spirit song Awakens

to form a New Bond -

made sharp -

by the longing, the distance of Time,

the awareness of

Close Spaces.

The Lark, the Dove, the Swan,

The Canaries,

form wreathes around my head,

and braid themselves around my Heart -

to pull and stroke in Rhythm,

in a Dance of Want and Waiting.

Interesting use of the images--they give the piece a magical feel
