Warm N Toasty

I love it when I come home and kick off my sneakers or work shoes and throw those wonderful slippers on

My feet have just entered feet heaven

My slippers are fur lined and very very comfortable

Then on occasion I have been known to grab my wifes slippers ( by mistake)

Boy do they feel good soft and fluffy

Until she yells have you seen my slippers and I yell back

I will look for them where did you have them last

That gives me some extra feet pampering time

Then as she looks around the house

She suddenly remembers where she left them and their not there

She will say in a very firm tone HONEY

Hey I want my slippers back you have your own

It is funny how I just found them and I thought I would warm them up for you

She knows me only too well

Then I go and grab a blanket and cover over my shoulders like a shawl

The only problem is this is a full size blanket and I can't walk or I will fall

So I lay on the couch and wrap it around my body like a cocoon

I have no plans of going anywhere soon

Then if I have to get up and move around I pull out the old bathrobe

The fluffy white terry cloth one that the cruise ships carry

I wrap the tie tight as if I am never going to take it off

Then again I have been known to take my wifes robe

A case of mistaken identity

The soft bright flowered robe only a woman would wear

It brings me back to my childhood and all I can think of is my first stuff animal

Who doesn't like that

I just wanted you to see

Even men can be weak in the knees when it comes to being pampered and spoiled

What good is life if we can't break the rules and push the limits
