Waving In the Wind

Updated on November 12, 2012

The American Flag

driving down the street I turned to the left and what did I see

red white and blue flags standing tall in a school field

waving at me, it was such a freely quite and amazing sight

it had me in awe that I just had to stop and hold this moment with a picture through my lens

so that others can also see this beauty I have captured through my eyes;

the beholder!

      I am too sassydee, I am a Nam Era Vet and I appreciate those that served. But that does not mean I have to believe that any of that is right or necessary:)

      mark (curiad) you know instead of focusing on the negative things I was just meaning to focus on appreciating the fact of those who have fought and who are fighting for our freedom it is what it is but I am very appreciative for those brave heroes

      Lest we forget, these flags remind us of the uselessness of war, of the inhumanity of humanity. They also remind us of the cost of our fight for freedom, and the selflessness of those that did not make it home.

      Waving in the winds of time, the flags of those who have given their all for their country. Thank you for this nice tribute and the great photograph.
