We Are All One in Spirt. A Loving Dedication to Madan (Emge)
One Creation
Two Quotes from Sri Chinmoy
“If we live in our Oneness-Heart,
We will feel the essence of all religions,
Which is the Love of God.
Forgiveness, compassion, tolerance, brotherhood,
And the feeling of Oneness,
Are the signs of a true religion.” –Sri Chinmoy.
“Be kind, be all sympathy.
For each and every human being,
Is forced to fight against himself.” –Sri Chinmoy.
Reconciliation and Forgiveness
Rohini's Story
Rohini walked up to the prison door with a joyful Heart. For months she had written to Panchari, but either because of his guilt, insecurity, lack of remorsefulness or all three, he had refused to see her.
Not today, she hoped. She was so happy when the call came! The Prison Officer, acting on behalf of the prisoners, told her that Panchari was truly sorry, that he had been on his cell phone when the truck hit her, and that when he actually saw her in those split seconds, it was too late to stop. He was now full of remorse and pleading for forgiveness.
He had agreed to meet her, and now, flinging open those gates of the prison where he was still held six months later, she felt relieved, happy and with much Peace within. She had suffered a broken leg, but felt after all, that it could have been much worse. Going up to Panchari, who was now standing in anticipation at the Prison Officers side, she embraced him, gave him a great big hug, and told him that all was forgiven.
By the time Rohini left nearly one hour later, both felt that the knots of their Hearts were now untied; both smiling, while walking in the opposite direction, with tears in their eyes and relief in their Spirits.
“Practice the feeling of Oneness.
Do not try to get ahead of others.
You are bound to be supremely happy.” – Sri Chinmoy.
Dawn and Donne
All One in God's Loving Embrace
We are all one in Spirit. My weaknesses lie in your own weaknesses, and my strengths in your strengths. We are essentially one, and while one may follow the Path of loneliness and another the Path of Love, we are essentially seeking the same beauty that resides in the secret alcove of the Soul.
I rise in the morning; wash my face; attend to my prayers and bathroom duties. Then I eat, if necessary, prepare or steel myself for the day ahead, and if working, I leave the house, shutting the door behind me as I go.
It is another new beginning; another virgin dawn, and I go forth to do my duty; to obtain some hard-earned cash, hoping to pay my bills; to put some food on the table for either myself, or a family together. Somewhere on the other side of Australia or Africa, many are mimicking me or doing something similar.
Red faces, white faces, brown, black or oriental, Hispanics …Catholics, Hindus, Buddhists’, Muslims, Jews …all trying to make ends meet in this beautiful but sometimes weary sojourn, which we know as ‘Life.’
“No man is an Island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee." – John Dunne.
John Dunne was not only an exceptionally gifted poet, but as gifted poets often are, he knew the bond of Eternal Oneness. Not quite, but a bit like what we call collaboration or Team Work in the organisation or even football field. They bring results.
Links
We are all links, holding together in this perpetual chain of Time. Sometimes, one or two stronger brothers or sisters break free, and by the Grace of the ever-compassionate; the Divine mercy, they return to share; to encourage; to inspire...
This Earth is no field of roses. We struggle, feel pain, burn with fire until it’s intense heat feels like it’s pulling at our very Heart-beat: Our pulse. And yet, with all its darkness, storms and vicissitudes, it is still a beautiful world. Many fears are borne out of loneliness, separation, painful experiences; gross cruelty by those who – for God’s own reasons – harbour the most atrocious consciousness. Again, many storms are disguised blessings just waiting in the wings of Time.
Yet we can and do rise, singing the glory of the resilience or tenacity of men and women, who light a path before them, showing that if we refuse to give up, to be broken, then ALL is possible! As we move forwards, let us let go, accept, forgive in the true traditional spirit of Christmas, allowing the happiness and joy which is innately ours, to permeate our spirits, in joyful harmony with the Creation in all its quintessential wonder. Singing with the Seer this most profound and astute experience:
– “Only two miracles are worth seeing:
The miracle of Loving,
And the miracle of forgiving.” – Sri Chinmoy
Today, on this glorious morning, in the Spirit of the ever-transcending Splendour, I encourage you all my brothers and sisters in this oneness-world, to continue to move forward, to march, to run and fly towards our final destination. It may be a long haul of wayfaring, but the journey’s close is filled with beauty, grandeur, and an ever-effulgent Light-Delight. Praise be!
“Life’s perfection-road is very long, but the journey is richly rewarding.”
– Sri Chinmoy.
A Very Happy Christmas to ALL!
