She came with the celestials,

Speaking in tongues, like moonlight,

Telling a thousand ballads to Her Lover,

Shedding tears in the joyful silence of the stars.

She came with the radiant dawn,

With a glistening shine like flowers,

Heightening their immaculate grandeur,

To the delight of glorious spring.

She came with the morning sunrise,

Singing like birds -- a thousand nightingales

Wooing my core with music -- Love weeping

Joyfully, in a Heart of serenity and sweetness.

Finally, She came with the dance of wisdom, spilling the ink

Of Knowledge as she twirled -- a lyrical rhapsody in my Soul.

I wish I could soar, like birds,

Wings flapping in the azure,

Enjoying the fullness of Freedom.

I wish I was grand, like Everest:

Poised, majestic … chanting her sacred songs

In silence, with the humility of a thousand suns.

I wish I could dance, like Plisetskaya:

Graceful, ethereal … pulling on the rhythms of goddesses,

Until my soul sings and the starlings weep, with reverence.

I wish I could live, like Eternity,

My breath the fragrance of flowers,

My soul gone mad with the Bliss of birthless time.

Aye, my Heart will be an effulgent fire,

Prancing … rejoicing, in the core of ceaseless Love.
