Who I Am Thankful For
Today is Thanksgiving, and it is making me really think about what I truly am thankful for. When I think about it, I'm truly thankful for everything and everyone in my life. For instance, I am completely thankful for my best friends.
Cheyenne is definitely my closest friend. She has been there for me through thick and thin, and I for her. There is nothing I wouldn't do for that girl, nor her for me. We are like peanut butter and jelly, or salt and pepper. We just belong together. She's my soul mate in a best friend. I love her like my sister, and I am most definitely thankful for that.
Her mom, Cynthia, is also someone who I am thankful for. She's the sweetest, most caring person I think I have ever met and who I hope to be like one day. She forgives easily and takes in people that need a place to stay. She is the most passionate person and definitely doesn't give up easily. She's strong and courageous, even though she may feel weak. She always pulls through. She is my mom, as well as the mom to half the city. I am thankful she is in my life and always will be.
Cheyenne's sister, Searon, is also someone who I am thankful for. She's sweeter than sugar and absolutely the most innocent person I could know. She's amazing and strong willed. She is very, very good natured and makes me smile every time I see her.
My best friend Jessie is also someone who I'm thankful for having in my life. She's willing to be silly with me and doesn't care what other people think of her. She has a short fuse, but I love her anyway. She's spunky, crazy, funny, and just plain awesome.She makes me laugh and her and I can geek out on anything together. I love her and am definitely grateful to have her in my life.
My best friend Moriah is the cutest girl I have ever met. I love her. Her and I have shared stories back and forth. We've shared laughs. She's someone I tell basically everything to. No matter what I can always expect a smarter answer to whatever problem I have than what I can come up with. She's a sweetie pie and I always want to pinch her cheeks when I'm near her. She's absolutely silly and isn't afraid to make herself stand out. I am beyond grateful and thankful to have her in my life.
My best friend Ariel is an amazing person. She takes a lot of crap, but when she gets fed up, you know it. She has helped me in many situations and has always been a shoulder to cry on. She's been there through thick and thin and I love her to death. I am beyond thankful to have her in my life.
My best friend Mason is certainly something. He's always made me laugh and I miss him. I love and miss everything about him. He was someone I could be myself around, and he could be himself around me. We're glued together. Nothing can tear us apart. I love him and I'm beyond thankful for him to be in my life.
My best friend Willow is definitely what people would call different, what I would call beauty. She has a sweet spirit and a gentle heart. She may be rough around the edges but its what makes her her. I love her and always will. Shes been my shoulder to cry on and someone who i can talk to about everything. I expect blunt honesty from her, which is why I love her so much. I am thankful she's in my life.
My last best friend, but most certainly not the least important, my best friend Will. He has been a shoulder to cry on. He's always been there for me, even when I didn't deserve it. And I've always been there for him. I love him and I'm beyond forever grateful to have him in my life, as with all my best friends. They're definitely best friends for a reason.
One of my very good friends, Jerry, is someone who is the definition of "Gentle Giant". He's one of the tallest people I know but has the mannerisms of a teddy bear. He couldn't hurt a fly, even if he wanted to, because he has the kindest heart. He's super sweet and doesn't have a problem with being so nice. He gives amazing hugs and I love him. I am extremely thankful to have him in my life.
This next person is someone who I fell in love with at first meet and will always love her. We have been through a lot together, yet whilst being hundreds of miles away from each other. My friend Evie is someone who I consider to be the bravest, most courageous, most spectacular person in the world to me. Her and I met through a deep, depressing tragedy. It cut the both of us very, very deep. It hurt us beyond the skin; it hurt our spirits and our hearts. But because of that tragedy, she had made a scholarship to help others out. She rose above the tragedy we faced and now she's helping others. She is a godsend and I love her for everything she has done.
My friend Tim is definitely a story within himself. He has walked to my house from his house, and that is definitely a feat (we live about 6 miles away from each other). He and I are definitely a force not to be reckoned with. I'm not afraid to be myself around him and he lets me be my goofy self without judgements. He is more than just a friend, for he is close to my heart. I am thankful for him being in my life.
I'm thankful for my parents. Without them, I wouldn't even be here right now. They've always, and I do mean always, been there for me. I love them and even though It may not seem like it sometimes, I do. They feed me and take care of me and guide me through life. They help to make me understand the reality of what life is like. I love them to death and always will. I'm grateful they're in my life.
The people in my life make my world go round. They make the sun shine and birds sing. They're what keep me sane from reality. I love every single one of them. They are all people who have been there for me, and I for them. They are all people that make me doubt there is evil in all of us. They are the people I talk to about everything. They are what make my world and what keep me focused on life. They've dug me out of deep holes, and I am thankful for all of them.
