What Is A Normal Day For You?

Updated on April 29, 2013

Does This Sound Familiar ?

Waking up after the alarm clock hoping for just a few more minutes of shut eye

Eating cold cereal for breakfast unless my wife surprises with eggs, pancakes or french Toast

It is not that I can't cook I just don' want to

I look to fill my stomach and then on with my day

I will leave out making love to my wife whenever possible

Because I think that is a given for any two lovers who are in love and want to share hot, sexy fun

Working my full week at my job from 37 to just under 40 hours every week

I would work more if they let me but they cut all overtime

Living each day with a deep desire and passion for more

Dreaming of new ways to make things better

Juggling lifes struggles so we can move on

Learning all I can and accepting the things I have no control over

Writing about my life to the best of my ability

Giving thanx for so many beautiful people and things

That dance into my life and slip away quietly

Praying to God for one more day

Joy56 My father use to say...We all get up and put our feet into our pants one foot at a time.So in many ways we are the same. Our day consists of a crazy combination of work and sleep. The hours that are untouched are spent any number of ways.I hope useful and productive.Having fun and making people laugh and sharing the gift of life. What else can we really want ?Thanx so much for reading and what a pleasure it is seeing you.Have a peaceful night.

      Hi dream-on.

Gratifying. " Normal " days - starting at. 5:35 am, year-around everyday ; except when my body is exosted past double shift. After " retired " made myself " refired, " because there is so much to accomplish before the final move HOME. My schedule - whatever my plans are to be productive and useful , I leave " open time " for ' a specials ' of the day. Meeting new people, and sharing with them the truth to live and righteousness to apply,- the essence of eternity. The people everywhere , any age are hungry for God and godliness .( just don't push any " religion " including present day communistic one. )

Yes, praying for another day along for praising Him is ceaseless every breath inspirit connection being ready to leave the body means taking departure seriously.

      Voting up and interesting.

We must always thank God for each day He gives us and let Him guide us through our days. Life is like that it seems we always want to do more but either there is too little time or something else that crops up. I get to set up my own days but sometimes I just have the urge to do nothing for an entire day however then I know that things will get in a mess on my comp.

kidscrafts I love fruit salad too. There is nothing like all types of fresh fruit to give your day a good kick start.I have never been self employed but I can imagine the dedication and the drive to go for what you always wanted.Lots of responsibility but also the pleasure of being your own boss.It is always nice to see how other people begin their day to give us good ideas that we might want to incorporate in our day also.We can aways learn from one another. As long as we are willing.Sparklea Sharing and giving makes my day worthwhile. Some days don't look too exciting but after further investigation I am so blessed I don't have the troubles other people do.Thanx so much for reading and sharing another good day.

Great points have been made in this hub that so many will be able to relate to. I know that for myself, I ask God every single day not to take me into eternity until His purpose for my life has been fulfilled.

You write, 'living each day with a deep desire and a passion for more' which I think can be filed under 'normal.'

I know that when I was working, although I was thankful to have a job with money coming in, deep down I felt I was losing many hours a day not doing what I longed to do: read and write. However, I would get up each morning and write before leaving for work. I learned that if I spent even five minutes a day writing, it was not a day wasted. I managed to publish several articles in magazines and newspapers.

As I see it, you are making a difference with what you share on hub pages. Keep it up!

Writing is so very, very rewarding.

My sis tells me, "Just keep doing what you are doing, and everything will fall into place."

She is correct. Give the blank page of each day to God and ask Him to guide you intuitively moment by moment. Voted up, useful and interesting.

Thank you for this great read. Blessings, Sparklea :)

Very nice! My day starts with a fruit salad.... and because I am self employed my work days never end :-( But I am very grateful that I can afford to work on what I do :-)))

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about a normal day for you! It made me think about mine and also gratitude of having the liberty to do what I love :-)
