1. Tea

A good deal of people like tea! And if your pen-pal is one of the many folks out there who enjoy it, then send it! If you have a favorite kind of tea yourself, then send your pen-pal some of your favorite tea(s)!

You can add the tea bag inside of an envelope before you seal it and put the stamp on! There are also lots of tutorials and ideas on Pinterest of creative ways to decorate and mail the teabags.

Green tea especially is good for you, it boosts your metabolism if sipped throughout your day.

2. Stickers

Stickers! Stickers! Stickers!

I'm going to say it. You're never too old for stickers! Seasonal, handmade, or cute printed stickers with designs are great items to send in a letter. They are lightweight, affordable, and can easily be slipped in an envelope before you seal it and place it in the mail.

3. Small trinkets

Small trinkets such as: cute erasers shapes like fruits, bracelet charms, souvenir coins from the fair, stamps, handmade bracelets, keychains, etc. - These are all fun and cute things you can mail to your pen-pal! Handmade bracelets show effort and thoughtfulness, and souvenir coins helps bring a piece of where you live to them!

Sending extra things inside of envelopes alongside the letters brightens the package, and makes the recipient smile! You can add notes, pictures, handmade cards, inspirational quote-sayings-cards, and bookmarks, as well! These are all flat, and will fit well inside of any envelope.

Did this provide you with some ideas of what to mail to your pen-pal?
