Do you enjoying writing for fun, then Wattpad may just be the website for you. You may be asking, "What exactly is Wattpad"? Well, the simplest answer is that Wattpad is an eBook community, more layman's terms; Wattpad is a site where indie writers write their stories in an online social networking setting. You can also download the Wattpad application onto your application supporting phone, as long as it supports Java, to read the stories that you love from your favorite authors at Wattpad.
That Wattpad Moment
Wattpad is 100% free; the Wattpad phone application has been downloaded over 5 million times! Though there are a lot of the younger generation indie authors on the site, there are a lot of jewels throughout the site, a little something for everyone. You can publish your whole novel, poetry, short stories, etc. on the site to get reader feedback and it may just give you a confidence boost.
Wattpad holds several contests a year, their biggest contest on the site is called "The Watty Awards". The Watty Awards is the biggest contest on Wattpad, it's Wattpad's annual reader's choice awards. The The Watty Awards Prizes ranges from $1,000 to a Kindle eBook Reader, and other cool prizes as well!
