When Life Gave Me Lemons
Sitting at the bay. Here almost every day. When all else leaves the fray. I go here and stay. View of the ocean. Waves hittin the beach birds in commotion. Seeing islands in the distance while im going against the wind, resistance. Life in my hands I make the most of moments. Young and reckless but you couldn't tell by my neckalace. Always restless I confess this. Maybe cause my ADHDness. Making up words, always talking and ish. Energized, I do my thing cause its nobodys business.
No matter when or where, I'm in. My mind. All the time. The source of every rhyme. My past behind, when life gave me lemons I went and got some lime. Made some sprite. That's my drink, so light, so nice, it taste so right. No matter the day, or night, I'm going to be me. As long as I live I will be free. All those who disagree will see, there's an I in Irell so its always team me. Don't think I'm selfish, self-centered, or conceited. I am only completed, by my faith, love, and family so go back and reread it. With that I can never be defeated. Do for others what I would want done for me til my life is depleted.
