When the Devil Reigns
In these times when a Devil seems king
His days are numbered still
His grinning face big head out of place
not stronger than our own will
With his horned top trying to feed us slop
waiting for his greatest fall
Dressing in finery and visiting the winery
the worst day for him his ball
Proceeding to beguile wearing a crooked smile
nasty no matter what he does
Dirty tricks amid the flicks long as a country mile
he continues to be what he was
Every word he mutters causes his stutters
Giving our day a big lift
To his dismay does to matter what you say
setting his soul so adrift
Befriending of this enemy, suspicious at least
matters of greatest concern
Taking from the poorest to benefit the richest
Makes him more likely to burn
One day so very soon, in a late afternoon
His reign shall come to a halt
His days will be over lost in the clover
Blaming everyone but is his fault
The Lord God rules this earth we share
no one may call it his domain
The wrath of the creator greatest of all
then upon his head to reign
The angels shall trumpet, voices then to ring
the world's people all shall sing
The beast is now gone, what he did all wrong
Now a peace to the earth shall bring
