Where Truth Lies
When I contemplate how my life has been spent
Memory condenses the fore time my soul underwent
The unfamiliar destines, the gratification and the strife
All are story lines of my memoirs, paragraphs in my life
Souvenirs and keepsakes on the mantelpiece of my mind
Displayed within my eyes and on my face defined
When age and time in hand accrue
When crimps and lines creep up on you
Is there respeculation of your life worth ?
Do the old keep wish to return to birth ?
I'll ponder the significance of my life until my final destination
At flesh's end I prospect to secure the truth of expectation.
