Where's My Lucky Charm?
my bad luck has befallen on me
or is it just my destiny?
I walked around with a limp
and gotten the nickname "the gimp"
I almost hit a stupid deer
barely a near miss, I fear
I got ran off the road by a crazy lady
on her cellphone, looking a little shady
I beeped the horn and gave her the finger
she took off fast, not daring to linger
I got my paycheck the other day
but in my hand, it did not stay
I sat it down and when I turned around
it was no where to be found
so all these things have happened to me in a week
no exaggeration, just listen as I speak
should I just forget it and look the other way?
no, I think I will stay home today
it's safer from harm
