Whisper Of A Love (poem)

Updated on April 11, 2015

The stars of ever whisper of a love

Painted on the skies to kiss a dream

To hold a heart across a silken stream

Waiting past a moment for a chance

Listen listen and perhaps you’ll hear

He calls to her in chorus of his heart

Every breath or vision only her

For him she is the reason mornings stir

Pages of a lover’s fantasy

Listen listen and perhaps you’ll hear

He tries his life to show her how he feels

Love’s confusion ties him in a knot

His actions do not gain responses sought

Yet there is some eternal in love’s play

Listen listen and perhaps you’ll hear

One day she happened on the fateful bridge

Gazing on the water soft and clear

When suddenly a sight drew sorrow’s tear

A body so familiar floated by

Listen listen and perhaps you’ll hear

Martin, you're the master of mixing melancholy with beauty. The soothing music is a nice touch.

Hey Matt, Very romantic, loved the guitar and mix of sounds/video. Great presentation of poetry.
