Kisses from Love. Saturday's Inspiration, 22, to Shaloo Walia
Wisdom from the Masters
"When a person responds to the joys and sorrows of others, as if they were his own, he has attained the highest state of spiritual union." -Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita
"Be kind, be all sympathy, for each and every human being, is forced to fight against himself." - Sri Chinmoy
Who Am I?
Who am I?
Silence whispers in the nothingness of space,
While I struggle for speech and become mute.
Yet my wafts dance in the moonlight, carrying solace
To the veins of the afflicted; and life to the embryonic
Twins, that will eventually burn my house down.
I’m so drunk, that I do not comprehend this music;
This flute of longing, echoing symphonies in my Heart.
Instead I soar, like an eagle in full flight, painting rays on the
Horizon, while shining on the crest of the moon’s indigo blue.
Sweet dawn, did you see that glint in Her eyes and
The smile on Her cheeks? She wore my robe, while its
Fire lit the vivacious stream of beauty in Her soul -- a temple
And a carousel of burning flames.
Who am I?
Love steeped me in an ecstatic Emptiness
So bewildering, that all my memories dissolved in Time,
Enchantingly comforting like canaries,
Singing in the language of Paradise.
Come! Come! I’m intoxicated and confused and
This wine is a sweetness I can’t explain.
One of Light and shadow; Joy and agony
Spinning and whirling; spinning and whirling,
Into the astounding beams of endless Time.

Loved Kissed Me
Love kissed me, I became lost in an awe
Of bewilderment, that stunned my being.
Adrift in this maze of enchantment,
I knew not who I was, as Her cheeks sweetened,
The dampened sugar in my pore.
“More, more!” My ravished lips cried out,
Enraptured by the fire of Her embrace;
I was dipped in the wine of solitude, which calmed my soul.
All my life I had been lucky –
The warmth of my mother’s sacrifice;
The boon of good friends … the richness of joy
In selfless work; the charm of nature’s grandeur.
But today it is different, as the Light of
Her Majesty, penetrates my core.
No more the tenebrous pangs of illusion;
Of a tedious mundane from dawn to dust.
For I am bewitched by a river of sweetness,
Bemused by the rays of the setting sun.
My Empress, I’m the deity; Your Heart my shrine;
Your verdant green of nature’s dance.
You’re my Ocean, with me Your drop;
The seed of the pearl on Your aquatic bed.
Tarry a little longer, my sweet, sweeter … sweetest Queen,
Pour into my Soul Your golden Silence.

More Light From the Lantern Carrier
"Morning glories; white snow … yon butterfly emerging from the cocoon.
Smiles from the embryo; my heart-stopping moon,
Who paints the colours of Thy breath?"
The kiss of Silence whispers:
"I am the inner melody within these songs." -Manatita
