Story line...

Tony and Isabella were happily married until fate played its part. In her quest to get a job to support Tony who is striving to make both ends meet and to keep food on their table, she stumbles on Johnson her childhood love whom she lost touch with for over fifteen years. Meeting Johnson changed everything about Isabella.

She abandoned Tony for Johnson and everyone condemned her action. Her parents called her a disgrace and Tony's family called her a taboo. She found the love of her life, the only man she loved so a new chapter began in her life as she is crowned the Executive manager of Johnson's company.

Tony's heart is broken and Isabella is complete.

Somehow, Johnson's life became a twist and Isabella is broken down. She has no other alternative but to go back to her matrimonial home.

PRIEST: In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride

TONY unveils ISABELLA’S face and kisses her while the PRIEST and GUESTS watch and smile

TONY and ISABELLA kisses each other as they fall onto the bed and sleeps off

TONY comes out from the room and bites the slice of bread ISABELLA is eating, kisses her then speaks

TONY: Sweetheart, I will be on my way okay, please prepare me a nice okro soup, that is what I want to eat this night with solid fufu

ISABELLA: I will do that baby

TONY: I love you and will always do

ISABELLA: I love you too

TONY leaves the house, goes outside and enters his taxi then leaves the compound

TONY’S MOTHER: I am proud of them, they look very much alike, when Antony first told me of his intention to marry Isabella, I cried to God to bring back my husband just to witness their wedding

ISABELLA’S MOTHER: What else can I say Martha? You have said it all; I wish our children the best as i wait for the day our first grandchild will arrive

FADE OUT. IN TONY’S HOUSE- NIGHT

TONY and ISABELLA discussing about their future while on bed

TONY: You see sweetheart, the problem in our country is that the government has no direction and tackling unemployment is one thing this present administration has totally failed

ISABELLA: Well I have a surprise for you and it is going to be our breakthrough, guess what baby

TONY: You are pregnant?

ISABELLA: O! Common, not that, guess…

TONY: Then what? You know that I am not good at guessing and have never guessed anything you asked me to guess right so just tell me what it is

ISABELLA: Those people called me this afternoon for interview tomorrow and the lady that spoke with me asked me when I intend to start work because I was the only one that applied for the job so definitely will get it and my school qualification is at my advantage according to her

ISABELLA sits waiting then the SECRETARY receives a call, she takes the call

SECRETARY: Hello sir, okay sir

The SECRETARY drops the phone then speaks to ISBELLA

SECRETARY: Madam, you can go in now, I wish you all the best

ISABELLA: Thank you so much

ISABELLA gets up then opens the door and walks into the office

INSIDE THE OFFICE

ISABELLA sees JOHNSON the owner of the company and immediately recognizes him, she stands still as they gaze at each other and the pen JOHNSON is holding drops from his hand then they both calls out each other’s name

JOHNSON: Isabella

ISABELLA: Johnson

JOHNSON: O! God is this a dream? Wake up Johnson, wake up

JOHNSON gets up from his chair and rushes to ISABELLA then hugs her and she tights herself onto him then he speaks

JOHNSON: Where in this world have you been?

ISABELLA: I have been searching for you all my life Johnson

JOHNSON: I tried to trace you when I came back from England after my studies but no one in the neighborhood had information about your family’s whereabouts and when I saw your application, the name Isabella reminded me of you but the surname wasn’t your family name so I never imagined that it was you though I was anxious to meet this lady that bares the same name with the only woman I love in this world

ISABELLA: I never knew that I will ever see you again Johnson

JOHNSON: Baby, I want you to come over tonight, I can’t sleep and the fact that you are with another man when the one who loves you is alone is killing me

ISABELLA: Yes my love, he is inside, I am outside

JOHNSON: Give him the phone

Tears drops from her eyes and she shakes her head then hangs up the cell phone then cleans her tears and walks back into the house

TONY: Mama, this has been going on for months, ever since she got that job things has not been the same in this house, my wife wakes up in the middle of night leave me on the bed and leave the house, sometimes she doesn’t come back from work until after three days and each time I try to confront her, she will become aggressive, the other day, she even raised her hand and slapped me…mama, she slapped me

TONY’S MOTHER: What will people say my son? That your wife abandoned you or that another man stole your wife, what people will say has nothing to do with this because we must stop this disgrace, what has gone into Isabella?

JOHNSON pulls over then gets out from the car with ISABELLA and they both walks into the house

INT.FADE OUT. IN TONY’S HOUSE- MORNING

ISABELLA and JOHNSON barges into the house and sees TONY, his MOTHER and ISABELLA’S MOTHER, they all gets up form their seats as they see them and ISABELLA’S MOTHER rushes her, she pushes her away and shouts on top of her voice

ISABELLA: Don’t you dare touch me

ISABELLA’S MOTHER and TONY’S MOTHER insults JOHNSON while he laughs at them and TONY watches helpless

ISABELLA’S MOTHER: Devil, you can’t snatch my daughter away, you will surely meet what you are barging for

TONY’S MOTHER: It shall not be well with you since you have decided to destroy another man’s home to build yours, you will never see happiness in your life, Isabella will forever bring you sorrow

ISABELLA stares at TONY then pulls off her wedding ring and throws it at him then walks out from the house with JOHNSON

JOHNSON having a conference with his three MANAGERS, CHRIS and ISABELLA

JOHNSON:Good afternoon gentlemen, I called for this short meeting to officially introduce the company’s new General Manager to you. Therefore, it is my honour to introduce Mrs Isabella Mobis to you, she now oversees every aspect of the company meaning that all of you reports direct to her.

JOHNSON gets set to leave for Abuja while ISABELLA fixes his tie

ISABELLA: You look nice my love, please call me once you reach Abuja and don’t forget to get me that diamond ring

JOHNSON drives along the road and sees a MAN holding a PREGNANT WOMAN. The MAN waves at him and he stops to assist them but as he comes out from his car, the MAN walks to him and instantly pulls out a pistol and surrenders him.

MAN: Get on your knees and hand me over the car key, bastard

JOHNSON stares at the MAN and the PREGNANT WOMAN who also has a gun on her then he throws his car key into the bush and the MAN gets upset then speaks

MAN: Motherfucker, why did you do that, you idiot

With that, he angrily shoots JOHNSON and he falls and dies, and the MAN and PREGNANT WOMAN searches and finds the car key then drives away with the car

ISABELLA arguing with CHRIS over JOHNSON’S ESTATE

CHRIS: Isabella or whatever you call yourself, you are leaving this house today

ISABELLA: Leaving my own husband’s house, are you crazy?

CHRIS: You are the crazy one, who is your husband? As far as I am concerned, my brother Johnson was never married until his death, he was single, you are nothing but a gold digger and who knows, you might even be the one responsible for his death, let’s wait and see what the police investigation will reveal but until then just pack your things because we don’t want you to hang here any more

ISABELLA: Do you realize that I am pregnant Chris? I am carrying his baby

ISABELLA knocks at the entrance door and TONY opens the door then sees her crying, she goes down on her knees and begs him to forgive her

Please my darling, forgive me, I am sorry for all I caused you, it was all my own stupidity but I have learned my lessons, please, I will never do that again, I am ashamed of myself but my love, I beg you to have mercy on me, please forgive because i was totally lost

TONY looks at her then bangs the door and she falls on the ground and cries

ISBELLA’S FATHER: Listen to me very well, you are no longer my daughter, I have disowned you so do not ever come back to his house because you are no longer welcome here

ISABELLA: Papa, please forgive me, I don’t have any other place to go or any other person to run to, don’t throw me away now, this is the time to be a father

ISBELLA’S FATHER: Go back to your lover boy’s house or go and leave on his grave, idiot

KOFI: My dear cousin you know that I will never deceive you, believe me, the best thing for you to do in this case is to forgive your wife, I understand your situation and position in this whole mess but in life, certain things happen to us as a test

TONY stares at the ceiling as tears drop from his eyes then he looks down at KOFI and speaks

TONY: Where did you say that you saw her?

KOFI: I saw her the other day at Chief’s uncompleted building and she told me that it is where she sleeps

TONY: So we will find her there?

KOFI: I am sure

TONY: Then let’s go for her. you are right, this is the time she need me and without an apology, I have forgiven my wife, I love her so much but that devil…

ISABELLA crying and speaking holding a knife

ISABELLA: Everyone has abandoned me but my love for you is stronger than death, my love I am coming to you so that we will both have peace and no one will criticize us again, no one will condemn us again and no one will reject me again

ISABELLA stabs herself on the belly just as TONY and KOFI enters the uncompleted building. TONY sees her falls and rushes to her then sees blood zooming from her belly, he turns her and she unconsciously looks at him then dies. TONY screams and begins to cry
