Who Was There?

Who was there when~

HE cried to the FATHER~

I know I left HIM alone~

In the garden.

Who was there when~

HE was ridiculed by almost all~

I know I must had been there~

Because I have this bitter taste left in my mouth.

Who was there when~

HE was sentenced to death~

I know I was in attendance with the crowd~

I know I am to blame yelling soft or loud.

Who was there when~

HE was beaten and whipped~

I know I was there just like it was me harming HIM~

Placing the thorned crown myself upon HIS innocent head.

Who was there when~

HE was hated and scorned~

I know I am so ashamed for what I have done~

I know now I was very wrong!

Who was there when~

HE was nailed to the cross~

I know I watched such a terrible travesty~

Now I think of it with great shock!

Who was there when~

HE hung there dyeing~

I know I was one of them who walked away~

Blessed be the ones who stood there crying.

Who was there when~

HE spoke to the FATHER to forgive us all~

I know I was deaf to that fading MANS words~

Now I am the one in prayer who calls.

Who was there when~

They took HIS dead body to the cave~

I know I was home asleep~

As the meek and mild anointed~

HIS head to HIS feet.

Who was there when~

HIS cave lay empty~

I know I was eating breakfast in my homestead at that time~

As the angel greeted the doting women of CHRIST in chime.

Who was there when~

HE was not yet totally ascended~

I know I myself never met with HIM~

Yet the loved ones that stood by HIM~

Witnessed to the miracle within HIM.

Who was there when~

HE was in Heaven~

Why our HOLY FATHER was~

I hope and pray~

I continue to prepare~

For the gift HE gave~

And~

For me not to make~

The same shameful~

Tragic mistake as I grow older toward my grave.

      Dear Readers~

Wow everyone! Thank you so much!

To think I thought for the longest time no one was commenting on my writings? Yet here I am finally catching up on all your wonderful comments! The reason being I have not answered your comments recently and in a timely fashion is that I had no idea they were there, because maybe my notifications were set wrong? I do not really know? Yet I am hoping I fixed the problem by playing with the notification buttons. We shall see. But the main thing is that I can tell you how each one of your comments delight my heart and I truly appreciate them all. Have an awesome day everyone!
