Whose Name I Wonder
This liquid, as red as a deep rose, runs from my skin
While something yearns from within.
The sensation of cold steel on my skin
A fire burns within.
The stinging that I long for
The pain that I seek
Comes only from a place deep within my core.
Many a night I lay restless, wishing for more...
More pain, more hurt, anything that could bring a tear to my eye.
Yet still a fire burns within.
My lips long to taste the bitterness of my own blood.
My skin longs to be broken.
My heart longs for eternal rest.
My mind longs for eternal slumber.
Soon these wounds heal, but the scars reveal a name.
Whose name I wonder.
This name who taunts my every waking moment.
This name that i see even when I blink
This name that now burns my skin.
Who's name I wonder, that makes my lips long for my own blood.
My skin long for pain.
My heart long to stop.
My mind want to die.
Whose name I wonder.
