Why Not Name Him Noah (poem)
A wondrous babe was he
As quiet as could be
So Noah was the name there written
To the baby’s charm the family smitten
Now home they went the three
The family and their new baby
-
When Noah first could stand
A dog was soon at hand
Then shortly after came a kitten
Somehow grandpa thought some fish might fit in
And Noah was so grand
For family he worked carefully
-
He grew as did his zoo
Each day brought something new
Soon birds began to fill the kitchen
Better watch the place you choose to sit in
For snakes and lizards too
Are family here as you can see
-
Soon boy became a man
What would be Noah’s plan
Good bye to pets the family’s itchin’
No wah’s what I said, not Noah written
Where will his future span
Now family free Alone at sea
