Reciprocate Poetry by Ashley Pentycofe

Updated on April 28, 2013

I want to be loved as much as I love you.
I want to be pined for like I pine for you.
I want love so strong no wind can move it.
I want to be the first thing on your mind and the last when you go to sleep.
I want to be the one you smile for, and would die for.
I want never ending passion and confidence that you will always be there.
I want you to be as certain about me as I am about you.
I want bear hugs, French and Eskimo kisses.
I want tummy hurting laughter and body warming smiles.
Bedtime full of tickle fights and cuddling.
Days and nights full of "I miss you"s and "I love you"s and "your my world"s.
I want to be your one and only, your passion, desire, obsession...
I want your respect, trust, and devotion.
I want someone who is totally devoted to me regardless of my flaws as I would be that way with them...
I have doubts and fears
If I let my self fully indulge in the idea of us there maybe a tragic ending if you don't reciprocate.
I would be a tree with no leaves
Struggling to breath
No matter how much sun light there is I could not survive with out you.
