Without You Life is Meaningless!

Updated on May 1, 2019
Life IS exciting!
Life IS exciting!

Without you life would be meaningless

Yes

My creator

My constant companion

You don't have to be a priest or a nun to value your relationship

With your creator

God is everywhere

But people ignore His presence

God is in nature

He created everything

But today in this "modern world"

Scientists and people claim they have reasons for Him not existing

It's all just a lie

A very good lie to trick people

And many just don't want to live by a "code" of ethics

Hmmm

Well, of course God doesn't expect perfection, no one can give it of course

But if one truly believes and accepts Christ, you will notice by his deeds

I plead

I beg my fellow humans

To not ignore their Creator

For he mentions in the bible multiple times

That there is a hell

And only those who choose to not love him

Will go there

So, please be wise

And don't ignore the free "prize"

Given by Him!

Life can still be fun

Oh yes!

Life doesn't have to be boring if you are "good"

No!

My mom is proof of that!

She is one feisty lady

And not boring at all

So don't be fooled and fall

For the trap and lies.

We all have a God-shaped hole in us, that if not filled we are lonely. In this song "The void" is not having Jesus.

You offer some very good advice and your faith is an inspiration in itself, Rose. I love Val's comment too. Oh, this is not an "acrostic" poem by the way. An acrostic is where the first letter of each lines spells are word or phrase reading downwards.

      Here is a silly example.

      Cat in the hat

      He sat on a mat.

      Eating cheese to get fat

      Enough though of that.

      Sometimes he eats rats

      Except when he chats.

      Thank you Val,

Your comment makes a lot of sense. I understand that not everyone can believe the same. I love diversity and I don't normally comment on other's beliefs. But sometimes I do. However I am peaceful about it, and I don't force my beliefs on others. I am glad you find peace in your life, and I respect your belief.

      Great to hear from you.

Rose -- Beautiful poem, expressing the depth of your devotion to your faith.

You know, some picture god as a bearded man -- since "he created man in his own image". Others have no picture, but "try" to think of an unfathomable intelligence, too big, too complex to grasp with human mind. Yet others just believe without even trying to understand, like a little kid can't understand income tax, just believes it must be something very important, since all adults are talking about it. So they follow all rituals being prescribed, because others are also doing it.

Some chose Bible, others chose Quran, still others chose Bhagavat Gita, and there are hundred of other choices. To each their own -- but all faithfully believe their choice is the only one that's right. And they may include theological scholars, who, despite their "high understanding" still can't agree whose god is The God.

As for me, I don't need other humans - having the same brain like mine, not superior - to choose for me what to think and what to believe. So I don't have a holy book. I have my soul, my heart, my intellect, my consciousness which I am expanding to make some sense out of all that -- or to leave it alone, as just another theme my brain is not wired to process.

And it's humble, with no intellectual arrogance claiming to have "all answers" -- filled with self-discovered inner peace, harmony, love for the mankind. I don't claim to be a good man. I have done my share of "sinning", but not nearly as much as those who, in the name of their god, ran Crusades, Inquisition, killed "infidels" and heretics, burned "witches" because they happened to be born with red hair -- and so on.

I don't go to church, like presidents do, who after a Sunday mass may issue an order for an attack, killing some countless innocent humans.

I am an ordinary dude, not worrying one bit about "hell" and other creepy stuff. But if I ever get there, I'll do what I can to help Devil with his emotional issues.

You are a great human being, Rose. Keep your faith, and don't worry what other people choose to believe. Religious indoctrination by our parents is only as good as it has instilled peace, love, and tolerance for different folks into us. I believe your mom instilled that kind of faith into you. Whatever she did, she did it out of love for you, so cherish that love. -- Your friend Val
