Writer's Block ~ A 100-word essay

Updated on February 21, 2012

*Insert Subtitle Here*

Blank. Just blank. My mind is as empty as one of those square states in the middle of the U.S.A. Dry and barren like Joan Rivers’ womb. As uninteresting as the fifth season of Jersey Shore. I couldn’t pull a good idea out of my brain right now even if a zombie offered to help. Hopeless. Just hopeless. I feel uninspired. Unexcited. Un? I can’t even come up with another un word. Bare. Just bare. Almost like a pretty young woman’s clean-shaven UNFURNISHED! That's it! That’s another un word! I’m at a loss. I have no words. Damn writer’s block!

I love to make you laugh

and giggle til you pee

It is my job to entertain

while you slap your bony knees.

I don’t know where it comes from

It’s internal, that’s for sure

An unknown comic deep inside

I suspect there is no cure.

So sit right back and get comfy

Use the restroom before you get here

I’m not responsible for any damage

That’ll be between you and your rear!

Gypsy, never say die! Ooops, I just said it!

Usually, I'll have a couple of ideas down on paper, but yesterday I had nothing! I just sat down in front of the computer and the words just fell out!

      Thanks for the comment!

LOL I'll tell you that for me it's great that I can come up with certain hubs just by having two naionalities - Latvian and American. If one doesn't offer inspiration usually the other does. However I have had real blocks sometimes even for this wonderful possibility. What I do in those cases is I sit and yes, talk to myself something like sad, bad, glad etc. Eventually something hits home and wham I write. Also I make a list of what I think may be interesting to write about and go surfing on the Net. Usually that also helps at times. I did enjoy your silly little poem though. See??? Inspiration is coming and the essay was pure brilliance. Creative and intelligent women never say die and we won't will we???

Clever hub.....Aahhh,how many times have I awoken during the night with some brilliant words flying around in my head, just aching to be pounded out on the keys, only to find myself 5 minutes later sitting in front of my computer staring at the screen, because I had to use the toilet first..perhaps the words were in my urinary tract.

For someone who had nothing this was pretty damn funny! Two to go and you've hit your 30/30; may tomorrow be easier for you! Great job making something out of nothing. Joan River's womb? Still laughing!
