I have a vast interest in numerous topics. I write about many different things.

Goodbye 2019.....Hello 2020

It is hard to believe that we have begun yet another new decade. This past year has not been super easy for me. There have been many changes and many trails. The year 2019 saw my little family living in a house with my father's mother. My husband and I were her caregivers. We made sure she ate, made sure she took her medicines and even took her to church and other things. January 19 my husband started working at a job that we liked a lot, but it caused him a lot of stress. He was promoted quickly though and was named one of the supervisors.

February was okay it moved along slowly. The first trail of the year came in March of 19...when my grandmother's house caught fire just a week before my oldest daughter's 14th birthday. Which made it where we had to move into a motel almost indefinitely. We were in the hotel for a couple of months.

During that time my grandmother deserted my little family and went to live with my cousin and his family. To keep our little family together we stayed at the hotel and I made sure the kids went to school every day while my husband went to work every night.

Skip forward a couple of months. In May it became impossible to continue at the hotel and still survive, so my little family moved to a house on my dads property. We lasted there until July when I finally told my husband that something had to change before the kids went back to school.

That being said a couple of weeks before my birthday we moved to Byron and into a home that we now share with my husbands family. He started a new job working for the Macon paper and we are now finally starting to pull ourselves out of the hole that we have been in practically our whole marriage.

Now he is working and I am even working. Which is slowly making things better for us. So even with all the trouble we have dealt with this year, we have still managed to come out better than what we were when we got here.

As this new year is now beginning my hope is that we can continue to better ourselves as individuals and as a couple. I hope that we can finally move forward with trying to get ourselves back on our own in our own place of residence.

I cannot wait to be back into our own home. So with this new year and new beginning, I hope to see a lot of positive changes.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! GOODBYE 2019 and HELLO 2020!
