Yesterday Was Golden

Updated on April 3, 2016

Yesterday was golden

Tomorrow is here too soon

To fly as high as a Raven

To glare consciously at the moon

While having peace and harmony

Listening to sound and laying comfortably

Taking today with a stride

While letting go of pride

By leaving an open door

Left open to explore

What is going on inwardly

Sometimes not being so friendly

While trying not to cast judgement on others

While remembering words from my mother

Letting go of the past to focus on the present

Words that are spoken to some are irrelevant

My aura is a beaming stream of light

That is elusive to sight

My mood is good and in tune

But tomorrow is here too soon

Another brilliant piece. Sincere and exquisite. Bravo!
