You Don't Know Me , But
watching but not judging
You don't know me but I'm your neighbor
I sit quietly as life presents itself
You are so stressed as you walk with your children
they are scolded harshly for so little
you walk your dog and yank his collar
you look stone cold as you start your car
as you see me in your vision, you smile
a hello is said as you bid me goodbye
too tired and stressed to see
exactly how you appear to me
that in itself is completely alright
for do as you please is your right
I once was that single mom
2 kids and their friends
to have much fun
worry of safety and bills and such
took its toll and left me depleated
I understand now, as my illness has progressed
everyone needs fun and then rest
I am not here to judge
just seeing a need for change
life is too short
we need to enjoy,Gods precious gifts
for we need change and not blame
