You Won't Win Every Battle

Updated on June 18, 2012

You won't win every battle

You have to accept that

Recovery is about winning the war

It's not about a perfect record

It's hard to learn to deal with the pain

Of thinking you're better

Of thinking you're free

And then crashing back down

They say you have to try

And take it day by day

And I know you hate clich├ęs like that

But it really is the only way

And eventually you'll find

That even if you'll never be perfect

Sometimes better than you used to be

Is good enough

Feel the fear and do it anyway. Never be afraid to live the way life should be lived. Life is too short, and we have to believe in ourselves.

Half or more of all the people I know seem to fail at some things because they don't believe in themselves enough, or haven't got the support mechanism in their life that can enable them to achieve things.

Bad things can happen to us, but we don't have to re-live them every day after forever. Ask what comes next, and then get to that place fast! Then the next , then the next.

It all comes down to what we want from our life. This is a great hub with a great message! Thanks for following me, glad to follow you back, and I will read more of your hubs! Cheers!
