You can get it if you want
This is to me one of the finest of Jimmy Cliff.
You can get it if you really want
But you must try, try and try
You'll succeed at last
Persecution you must fear
The song went on to say that no matter what happens, you must face ups and downs that is win or loose, you must get your share but then you have got your mind set on a dream and for sure you will fulfill it no matter how tough it seems. Persecution you must fear that mean that you just have to be yourself and focus'.
I know it- listen
Rome was not built in a day
Opposition will come your way
But the hotter the battle you see
Is the sweeter the victory now
All my life i had loved the snooker, i first came across it while watching a movie, the guy hit the white ball and the game went on and on. From that moment i began to dream of that game then one day, i saw the same board in one of the chief's house, his two sons had come back from the USA and they either brought it along or bought it in the city. I became their friend instantly because they were teaching youths how to play the game. After two months of learning, i beat one of them.
It was like a taboo, beating the master. We repeated the play and i beat him again, i beat him again and again. Six consecutive times. They said i had Voodoo and for that i was banned from coming along...
It broke my heart but did not broke me down instead it enabled me to search within and found the energy within me so i built my own board and from there, every other thing became history.
"Search within you and discover your passion"
It was an uphill journey
They tried to bring me down
Whenever my name came up
They erased it left me behind
But one day came and i made it
I beat the no one at the final
Everyone cheered at my victory
I got the badge and the trophy
I got it all and i was proud
I found my passion
It became who i am today
I am nothing but the MAESTRO
I am now set to beat Rory McLeod
