You have been clocked
I have waited for you with undying devotion,
my love for you was as vast as the ocean.
...
I would have walked to the ends of the earth to see your face,
I would have crawled through hell just to feel your embrace.
I have written eloquent prose in honor of your beauty,
I have carried my feelings for you as a privileged duty.
Through actions I have shown that I cared for no one but you.
I carried my emotions on my sleeve for all to view.
As reward for my effort, what prize did I gain?
I received your indifference, your silence, your disdain.
I remembered the times that were important to thee,
but you couldn’t find the time to remember me.
I wish I could be cavalier, I wish I were more guarded.
So that I could leave you in my wake instead of
being brokenhearted.
But my soul has been pierced, and my devotion has seeped away.
Maybe I will manage to live and love another day.
Just wanted you to know that I see where we stand,
And that I will remember this day like a scar left by
hot brand.
Dorogaya moya, you have been clocked…
