Poem: The Darkness.

Updated on February 1, 2015
Tea bags a true story.
Tea bags a true story. | Source

The Hand of Fate Makes You Smile.

A hand through the roof in the darkness, we run to the corners in fear.

We know two of us will be taken and the screams when they're gone we will hear.

Again the hand comes through the roof space, to the corners again we all go.

One more lifted up through the darkness he screams and he's shouting out no.

We live all our lives in this darkness, tis the reason that we are so sad.

It's a sad life for me as I sit here, you see I'm a little tea bag.

Too funny, Graham! I never saw that coming. I thought this was a trip to the dark side of life and a discussion of how random death is....and then here we are in a cup of tea. LOL Well done my friend.

Hee - I'd never thought of a tea bag being scared - I'll try not to look in future when I dunk them. Ouch!

Loved it!...Priceless... Now I'll have to be kinder to tea bags. Imagine the screams as we pour boiling water on the poor little things. :)

Hi Rosemay. Thank you for your welcome visit and comments. Thank you also for the votes. They tell me that NZ is like old England in many ways, if that is still true then I envy your life style. I always hoped to visit NZ / AUS. To late now though. Thanks again.

Yes Graham it is a much slower pace of life. If you avoid Auckland then new Zealand is like stepping back in time. And the beaches... never again could I struggle to find a spot to put my deck chair after being able to walk, relax (sit and read) on a beach here.

      You would love it.
