A Beautiful Disruption

Broken and alone you fell into my life.
Full of love and compassion, you were taken out by strife.
I lifted you up, and carried you to a place where I hoped you would find.
Peace and serenity to calm your mind.
I took your pain and made it my own.
I accepted you anger, and let it burn to the bone.
If you were in a place where you were accepted and loved.
Then you would have never have suffered and fallen from above.
And you would have never been found by someone like me.
So, I will mend your wounds and hold you tight.
And will cherish your love on through the night.
Once you've grown strong and alive again I will know.
Because I will call your name and you will not come.
And I will turn beside me and see that you've gone.
Then I can go back where I belong,
Away from your light.
