$ell more eBook$: How to increase sales and Amazon rankings using Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) by Lucinda Sue Crosby and Laura Dobbins

This is a very quick read filled with useful information. I can see where this can be useful and informative for anyone who has published and is thinking about publishing an eBook. I have been reading, studying, researching, and foraging through the world of eBooks the last couple of month with the goal of learning, learning, and learning all about eBooks and how to self publish.

The authors does give a few great tips that have worked for them and others in the past. Getting tips from experienced self publishers is always a treasure. But getting a few tips; sometimes even just one tip from a successful self publisher is well amazing and makes me want to do a happy dance. These tips are definitely worth a three stars.

The links which they give to us are incredible helpful and I feel strongly they will help me increase my sales and most important let the world know who I am.

I have updated this review to make it a five star because after reading many other eBooks about self-publishing this is really one of the best ones I have come across. I originally was upset because of all the links it had. The actual time the author saves you by putting these links all together it quite valuable.

When I originally read this book I was looking at the moment for more of a sitting down sipping on my favorite coffee kind of mood. Everything has it's purpose. This for me is a book to sit down with a pen and paper, take notes, and a laptop right next to you so you can check out all the links, and then make an appropriate plan of action. I should have clicked on maybe my Jane Austen book's at the moment I was reading this. It was just the wrong time for me to read it when I did my first read.

I have given this eBook a second go and find myself quite delighted to find most links are still good and active. Have not check all of them, but not a single one disappointed me. Not like a lot of eBooks floating out there which are full of broken links. It took me to go through quite a few less quality eBooks to realize what a gem this one is. Sometimes things happen this way. I sincerely apologize to the authors for my first review. Put it this way those less than quality eBooks will not even get a review. Not even worth the effort. I was so sure I was going to be disappointed when I started going through it again this morning but find myself doing a little dance with excitement because I am quite aware this eBook is going to save me loads, loads, and loads of time. In my defense the last time, which is not an excuse, my house was full of water, plumbing issues, had to fire a plumber who was buying too much material of one stuff so he could take them home (for another job on my dime) and charge me more because he did not have enough of the other, which even I could see what he was doing and he was a neighbor! I had also just told another plumber to get out my house who wanted to charge me so much for one plumbing job which I new would take me 3 days and I could do it for $80.00 and I know he could do it in 3 hours and wanted to charge me $1500.00. If we would have said even $300.00 I would have allowed it. That was highway robbery. Note to self, never ever, ever write a review after you just threw someone out of your house for highway robbery. So, glad that is over with.

I am also getting used to the fact that quite a few eBooks depending on the subject are going to be full of links. It is in the nature. I have another 20 some eBooks to go through regarding social marketing and I finally realize; it would be ludicrous of me to not to expect to see links. A lot of the links the author gives you; you can get lost in them in a couple of hours. So I suggest a notebook to write the links down, a few notes, and then checking them out even maybe at the moment and bookmark them for future research. Then later on go through them more thoroughly. This is just not a book to sit and read, but it is an eBook that holds a wealth of knowledge for the self-publisher and take action to see what all those links are about.

Would I ever buy this book if it were available in a printed format; no. I would be worried about the links becoming outdated. Nothing against the authors, It is the nature of the web. But at this time the links are current and are a quite valuable collection to have.

Apparently in printed format this book sells for $10.00 at Amazon. But, I found useful information in this quick read, in between the "google searches" and it is at the moment I was able to snag this eBook during a promotion while it was free on Amazon. Right now the authors have it for $.99 or Borrow For Free For Prime. If I would not have gotten it for free having read it, would I pay $.99? Knowing what I know now and having gone over 30 other eBooks within this subject; this is a great deal! The wealth of information that is packed in this eBook, the time saving, it is a great deal for 99 cents. I would recommend for you to buy before the price goes back up!

Each book has it's purpose and on the date of my original review, my sincere apologizes, I should have grabbed a poetry book, a short story, a quick motivational book, this book was not the book for that particular moment. But it is for the author who wants to self publish their eBook through Amazon and wants to be able to market their book out there. It is full of information which will make your head spin but in the spinning you will be doing a happy dance because you will realize, this eBook will save quite a bit of time because these links are there for you instead of having to search for them yourself. I do love eBooks that leave me doing a happy dance.

If you have published your own ebook are you finding it hard to actually sell your book?

I accidentally deleted your comment to my question about HubPages Apprenticeship. I am sorry about that. Do you know of any ways to get it back, once it is deleted?
