Do you have a quote, a message, anything that you read or say to yourself everyday to keep you going and focused?
Yes. Here it is:
Believe it or not, it has served me well at times.
I probably don't say them every single day, but I have regular sayings, yes, that give me strength and keep me balanced. Several.
Among them are---
I'm alive and kickin'.
You say that like it's a true thang.
Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see.
Two of those came from a very wise man--my Father.
I do, and I do think it is a good idea and good way to keep yourself going on your way. However, I do not remember how many times I forgot to tell myself the quote and the message, which makes me feel sad and shame about myself. So, the hardest thing is persistence. How many people can be loyal to one same thing every day for a whole life? How many people can easily overcome their own flaws?
