How much is The New York Times news paper worth from November 23,1963?
This paper has many pictures and stories about JFK's Assassination.
The newspaper in question, in and of itself, is worthless. A newspaper in question, should it be in mint condition - something extremely difficult for newsprint - could fetch considerable money as it covers the mourning of a shocked nation and family after the first assassination of an American President since the invention of television, video and the Internet.
The only way to tell the value would be to get an estimate from one of the big auction houses.
it's unlikely an auction house would even look at it - too many copies were printed, and by the 1960s people had started saving 'special' issues.
you can check on ebay and see that these items are commonly available and might sell for $1 - $20 in a given week. the life & look magazines the following week have similar pricing
the downside of the internet, amazon and ebay is that prices for what was once thought to be a rarity have crashed as many copies of these rarities show up
i've bought & sold books and comics on the internet for over 10 years, and the market peaked some years ago. it's still possible to make a living, but you have to really know where the value is
