    Are there any "former hippies" here.  I think I've spotted a few kindred spirits who have found...

    Haha, my dad used to be one
    He's always proud of that, showing us pics and stuff
    I never followed his footsteps though big_smile

    OK I feel old now, yes a former hippie here, from NY went to Woodstock in 1969 and lived on a 'homestead' for several years raising food, goats chickens and children.  Hey old hippies never die we just wear more tie dye.  :0) Peace and love, Baby!

    Ok ok I was not a hippie but I consider myself a hippie wannabe.  I'm a flower child.. that's what I am.  I still say cool.  and the first time I mentioned grass to my kids, they burst out laughing saying "It's weed, mom."  So cool.  Peace, dude!

    oh yea... Maybe it's because we haven't cluttered up our minds and time with the unnecessary...

    or maybe we just like to write...

    good comment... i cannot live without creating... all the time cooking, writing, playing music... gardening... art.... it is what i love the most about like...
