    How to protect a magazine/booklet ?

I am lucky enough to own a London 2012 Olympic programme, but I'm really worried about it getting damaged. I would like to preserve it for as long as possible but still have available to view.

You could speak to an archivist at a museum. Scrapbookers often use archival level materials. For instance, they do not use PVC envelopes to store written material. There are particular types of plastic bag or wallets that you can use to store written / printed materials. Of course, it also depends on whether the booklet was printed on archival grade paper, with archival grade inks!
