Okay peeps I need a good describing word for somethin in my story.
There is a fight going on between demon and demon hunters. Their blood is black but I want to describe the blood as it gushes out of their bodies. Like 'Midnight black' but I don't want to use the word midnight.
Anyone else have any good ideas for me? Any help would be appreciated!
"coal black?" or "mindless black?" how about what I just found on google: Legend (1985) - Memorable quotesPrincess Lily: Then still your heart, for you are dear to me. ... Blix: Black as midnight, black as pitch, blacker than the foulest witch. ...???
Don't know if it would be suitable but what about "sooty black"
Blood darker than tar oozed silently; blood as black as a raven's glistening feathers; inky lacquer oozed; blood as black as ebony.
actually the ebony one worked perfectly. you guys rock for helping me out like this!

Some of our differentially updated Hub stats drifted out of alignment over the weekend when one of our servers failed (which can result in negative totals, and other strangeness). This happens occasionally, and to fix it we have to reprocess everything from scratch (instead of just the...

I sent it back to be engraved deeper, but it came back the same (minus what I paid for shipping). Is there any way of adding definition to the...
