What are some of the most inspiring books/reads you have ever come across with?
That would have to be "To kill a mocking bird" by Harper Lee. I read it in High school and loved it. I have read it and watched the movie several times. Magnificent piece of literature.
"The Diary of Anne Frank" really made an impression on me. I was already keeping my own diary before I read it, but this book made me want to stick with it - even though I know I'll never be able to write as well as she did. It also really brought home the horror of the Nazis and how many beautiful and young voices they silenced.
"The Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom. Reminds you of what is important in life, and how thinking that trivial acts of kindness have little effect on the lives of other people, can't be farther from the truth.
