What is the worst book you've read recently?
It's easy to talk about good books. Out of every 10 or so books I read I do happen to pick up a dud, however. What was the worst book you've read in recent memory? Mine was "Caesar" by Allan Massie. I am a huge Massie fan, loved "Tiberius" and "Augustus" but "Caesar" (at least the first 40 pages) seemed like it belonged on a shelf at the checkout counter.
Honestly, I can't think of a worst book recently... But overall, maybe The Art of War for Dating or The Best of Christmas Songs (which is a book). Also Strange Brains and Genius was one I just put down and couldn't finish.
Funny: Thirty by epigramman available at Amazon
Beauty: Thirty by epigramman also available at Amazon
...easily, by far, ooooh boy!!!!
many might disagree on this one but I wish I had never read D.H Lawrence's Women in love...the idea of repressed sexuality and what not...did not happen for me..
but worst in my pov may be not for others.so it depends who we are talking about.
p.s there's no such thing as a good book or a bad book, just good or bad written books, think I'm quoting Wilde on this
The Game of Thrones series. I know, I know, lots of people loved it....but when I got to book 4 and still couldn't get a sense of any sort of coherent plot line, I ditched it.
Interesting. I've been thinking about the hype involved towards the books/show recently as well. Picked up Book 4 not too long ago and just couldn't get into it either. To me it's definitely a series that's trying too hard to milk the cash cow.

What was the name of the worst book you've ever read? Some people point to Moon People. Others mention the numerous post-apocalyptic "Survivalist" tales. Either way, there are tons and tons bad books out there....
