There are people making many hundreds of dollars per month here. Some in the thousands.
I'm new and don't know the ins and outs yet. But yeah, it's possible. Quality content, keywords, and SEO are key, from what I keep reading.
Yes, you can but it is important to remember that you will not earn money overnight and that you need to write about subjects that aren't saturated. Don't write only for potential readers but don't forget about what people are interested in or are searching for either.
I've been here for a couple of years and my experience is that as time goes by I'm earning much more than I was at first. Remain active and write about subjects that you are experienced with and knowledgeable of but these subjects must be subjects that others are interested in and/or searching for. If not, you will not earn much if anything at all.

Have to wonder if writing here is worth the effort...Okay, I have tried just about everything to get natural traffic but to no success. I get the whole "write better hubs, longer hubs, seo friendly hubs" etc. but this just feels wrong to spend an enormous amount of time in the hope of...

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery. What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?
