Right now I am writing poems, is this acceptable in the publishing?
It is very acceptable to publish poems. Poetry is pleasing to the writer and the reader who may or may not be getting the same meaning from each verse. It's a form of writing that doesn't need long dragged out sentences to say the same thing. You'll be surprised how many people like poetry. Be sure you put your poetry under the topic, Books, Literature & writing with sub topic Poems and Poetry.
Most people who write poetry are very sensitive, so please take care in choosing which one of your poems you going to publish, because if you get negative feedback, you may be depressed.
