You are not alone, I too am an introvert who suffers from depression- Bipolar Depression. Are you seeing a mental healthcare professional (therapist, psychologist ect,)? If you are not, please do. Depression is just like any other illness, it requires a doctor and medication. In addition to medication you can also go for walks, perhaps in a quiet park? I am an introvert, but I still find comfort in visiting with family and close friends, I am also an avid journaler. Remember you will have good days and bad days. I don't think you can ever "tackle" depression, but you can learn to live in spite of it.Enjoy the good days and seek help during the bad days, and remember you are not alone!
