Help Save the Animals on Puzzle Island

Updated on February 7, 2018

When my children were little guys I had a part-time job doing home parties for Child's Play International. Puzzle Island was one of my best selling books. This was most likely because it is educational, fun, interactive, and will entertain not only children of all ages, but adults as well, for hours.

If you're wondering, the home parties that I would do were for children's books. I would go into people's homes, set up my books, tell the hostess and all of the guests about the different books available, and play a few games. It was a part-time job that I really enjoyed, and the most rewarding part of it was being able to get the parents excited over the books, who in turn would pass that onto their children.

What is Puzzle Island All About?

Everyone is invited to Puzzle Island to help find animals on the island that are close to extinction. On each page or section of the island there are letters in which you need to unscramble in order to find out exactly which animals you are to find hidden in each picture. It may be an upside down horse hidden in the bark of a tree, or a monkey in the shape of a cloud.

There are many other puzzles and mysteries to solve along the way, and although this book is recommended for children 5 and up, the younger children may need some help with spelling and for the final puzzle of the book.

Many children that have read this book, and solved the puzzles, have walked away feeling that they could change the world by finding these animals, and helping to save them from extinction.

Hours of Fun and Enjoyment

When I first ordered my copy of Puzzle Island I had it sitting out for not only my boys to enjoy but also for friends and relatives to have fun with as well. I remember one Christmas where all of the adults sat down around the table with Paul Adshead's (the author and artist of Puzzle Island) book, and we must have spent three hours trying to solve all the puzzles.

I personally recommend this book to everyone. It makes a wonderful family or children's gift for any time of the year. If you'd like to purchase this book all you have to do is click on the Buy Now button at the top of the page.
