How Writing Develops the Mind


Apart from the several money making opportunities that most writers enjoy , there are so many gold benefits involved when it comes to writing that is way more than the money aspect . One of these is that , writing is very good for mind development . The article will discuss how writing is able to help the minds development and how it influences our daily deciosn making .

When you write , you are able to think more clearly about a subject or situation than simply talking about one. You get to exercise the mind as you research and analyze the contents of your topic . This helps you to understand your topic better.

Through writing, you get to educate not only your audience but yourself on the topic of discussion. When you write about a topic and teach others about your ideas, you get to memorize these ideas and you can easily remember them and to use them in your daily life.

Writing primes the mind to learn from it's environment . It develops the natural antennas of the mind that is able to sweep around your environment and pick or recognize information and ideas . You are able to discover ideas even on the go . The environment and the things around you always seems to be communicating directly to you - sending you messages that you are able to discover ideas all around you. The environment sort of becomes a mirror - reflecting back ideas to you. Helping you to be able to develop ideas from even the smallest things around you.

And as it primes the mind to learn consistently from it's environment , you are not just able to discover ideas that you may need to producing very good and intelligent articles . It also broadens your knowledge and helps you in your decision making . It heightens your analytical thinking ability and you are able to analyze things faster and more accurately . You gain a broad and better outlook of things .

Writing exposes you to different ideas and situations . It sort of gives you keen vision and heightens your sensitivity . It gives you a x-ray sense of thought . And you are able to look or read and think through situations intelligently. You are able to think more straightforward and come up with positive solution to problems.


Writing develops your empathy ability . Through writing , you are exposed to different kinds of situations and you can related to these situations better . Through your research and even when you publish your work , you are able to meet different people with different backgrounds and from different cultures. You meet people with different ideas and many that also share views with you . This enables you to understand to understand and relate to different people from all walks of life .

In fact if you begin to see writing this way, as a way of developing ones mind rather than just putting your thoughts into readable format, you should find it easier and exciting to write.
