Poem: Life and Food

Updated on October 6, 2016

How I pray for a sumptuous meal in the world of flavors.

Learning the life changing taste essences in colors of swallow rhythm.

Living with simple yet delectable dishes tempting the appetite,

And sip the aroma of a healthy and comfortable life.

I’m craving to taste the place on a plate.

Looking for the most sought after perfect complement rate.

I want to be in a journey with endless food tour stories.

So I could juggle with the art of taste in fantastic glories.

I want to treat my life with special indulgence,

Without necessarily drowned in submergence.

But can’t cheat my conscience on splurging

While the nest of the world is urging-

Urging for food and dying from the blade of hunger,

So share the blessings as they say even they are stranger.

Then see how the anticipated flavor be fired up in its own way,

And everybody can plunge on the royal feast without delay.

Now we can munch the true swinging luxury with a smile.

And make our life worthwhile with a tasty style!

Just thank God and be satisfied.

Bon appetite with a bite!

Very good poetry about hunger - I loved it and felt like being hungry for manna from the heaven...
