Winter

Updated on August 12, 2011

dark gray skies caress the trees and hold them ever so gently,

sunboy hides needing a much deserved rest,

it is time for the cold rain and snow to blanket the earth..

it is time for the creatures to take shelter in the bosom of mother earth,

and allow their great mother to renew.

mother earth has been beaten and threatened,

she will hide and recover and heal,

and set forth again to reclaim what has been stolen.

Very descriptive and a deep seated empathy with the earth and her innocents. ('beings,' not innocence...could be this, too but, this is not what I'm saying). K
