A kiss at death's door: A POEM
A kiss at death's door: A POEM
Silently...
My mind is infected with your charm
You have stopped the veins of my heart
With unspoken words
Like a worthless garbage
You've ignored me
Like a snail
You've crawled away from my reach
My heart bleeds, unstoppable
Like a heavy downpour
I dream to awake by your side
My thoughts ran after your shadow
Dragging you in my slumber
With knees bent in pleas
Oh, Eve's daughter
In pain you have drowned me
My mind a thief
Afraid at your every glance
For you have shut the door of your heart
My feelings, I poured to you
But, foul spit you rubbed all over it
My eyes awake each night
Shedding oceans
My affection wasted
My soul is at death's door
Waiting for his kiss
For what essence is life without you?
I'd be gone in eternal rest
Than watch you love another
For you are my elixir
The very flavor of my life...
